How to change android MAC address with ROOT any mobile

What is MAC Address?

A MAC address can be used to uniquely identify your Android phone on the Internet or the local network.In brief words, A Media Access Control address (MAC address) is a 12-character unique identifier assigned to a specific piece of hardware such as the network adapter of your WiFi device.

Why we change MAC?

The most important reason is privacy. If anyone use your local network can easily see your mac address with simple tool's.This gives a hacker to potentially keep track of your devices.If your original MAC address is public and revealed.a hacker can use it to access your device like

Find your ip address
cut your internet access
make some restriction based on IP address
spoof your mac address. etc.,,
block your device network

How to find android mac address?

This is depends on your android mobile brand but the most common way is go to your mobile Settings> About phone or About device> Status> WiFi MAC Address.

Change mac address with root:

Step 1:

First you download android terminal emulator application from google play store.

Step 2:

Now you download and install BusyBox application from google play store.

Step 3:

Now open your terminal emulator and give super user permission following command.

su

Step 4:

Now type this below command on your terminal this command will pop up your current mac address.

busybox iplink show wlan0

Step 5:

Now type this below command on your terminal this command will help configure the new MAC address.

busybox ifconfig wlan0 hw ether ( type your favorite MAC )

Step 6:

Now type this below command this is to check whether the MAC address has been changed or not.

busybox iplink show eth0

NOTE
Now we change our mac address with root but some limitation's are there we are all know the mac address is 12 digits correct. The first 6 digit is manufacture name so you don't change it. If you change means you will get wifi connection error so you change only for after 6 digit's
